John has managed entertainment acts beginning in the late 80’ and early 90’s part-time while working in media. In 1999 he was recruited by an organization to manage, schedule and travel with their national speaker. During 1999-2001 the speaker spoke to over 350,000 students to school assemblies, organizations and churches with a program called Choices. During the next 9 years John brought in many speakers and bands to local schools for assemblies and events. After John retired in 2010 some of these speakers asked if he would continue to help them obtain events for them. Power Zone Agency was created to meet this demand.
John retired PZA when he joined World Mission in 2012. PZA was relaunched as the business entity to market its entry into the publishing business in March of 2016 his consulting clients. John as serves to assist businesses, organizations, churches individuals in meeting their optimum goals.
John M. Hulett has been a full-time Associate Pastor in Youth and Music serving in 2 larger churches and 30 years as marketing executive in companies including 11 years in 3 non-profit youth organizations. As National Sales Manager of Visible Pictures of Nashville Tennessee, he helped launch a national marketing plan for the movie I’m Not Ashamed, the story of Rachel Scott, the first student murdered at Columbine High School. The movie was eventually distributed by PureFlix opening in 650+ theaters in October 2016 and now available on DVD and streaming on PureFlix.
Currently John is directing Power Zone Agency as well as consulting with individuals, groups, organizations and churches on projects for optimum outcomes. In December 2016, PZA launched into publishing/marketing with "Phoebe Flies Away", a children's book written for 3-8 years old coauthored by his wife, Miriam. He serves as Marketing and Business Manager of the publishing business. He enjoys working his wife, as her road manager for her many readings and appearances to entertain and inform young children.
Miriam L. Hulett is a retired teacher with nearly 30 years in early childhood. She holds a Masters Degree with an emphasis in Early Childhood Administration. She is Co-Director and Adjunct Professor of Early Childhood Education at Great Lakes Christian College in Lansing, Michigan. Her first book, co-authored with Janis Murphy, Phoebe Flies Away was published in December 2016 by Possum Publishing LCC, Port Charlotte Florida. It is a true and delightful story for 3-8 year old children, some have called magical, the first in the Adventures of Phoebe The Possum series. Phoebe was raised by Janis, a docent at the Central Florida zoo. Miriam has just completed the script for Phoebe Picks The Possum Queen, The second in the series of the Adventures of Phoebe The Possum.
Miriam lives on the farm where she was raised in Sunfield, Michigan with her husband John and Goldie, their adopted Golden Cocker from MacKenzie Animal Sanctuary in Lake Odessa, Michigan. She is the proud mother of two grown sons and enjoys her 2 grand daughters 6 months and 3 1/2 years old.
